Hello lovely friends,
In the midst of a busy summer I am just getting to post some more film work. Below are a few images from a portrait session with a good friend and some of my daughter. Film was Tri-X 400.
Enjoy!
This weeks FTLOF blog post brought to you by the crazy lady who made an impromptu dark bag out of her husbands old shirt 🙂 And that is exactly what I did when I felt my roll of film come off the sprockets and I could hear that terrifying sound of film tearing each time I rewound it …yikes! I was especially motivated to save this roll because I took my Pentax with me to Annel and Carlos’ engagement session and was so super excited to see how the photos turned out. As I start to incorporate film into my shoots this year, I am finding that the photos are beginning to hold new meaning to me and that sweet anticipation that one feels before you pick your film up from the lab is creeping back into my life and I love it. I am happy to say that I was able to save that roll of film (Kodak, Portra 160) and I am in love with the way that it drinks up the light. I hope you enjoy the below photos and stay tuned for more to come!
