These two beautiful souls were married in August at the georgeous DaVero Estate in Healdsburg. Surrounded by a small group of family and friends they said I do underneath beautiful trees and perfect blue skies. The fully outdoor wedding was perfect in pretty much every way. After the ceremony guests were escorted to the greenery where they enjoyed cocktails, small bites and of course bean bag toss and bocci! I loved how Patty and Adam put their touch on every aspect of this wedding. Nothing too over the top just simple and special.
Annel and Carlos’ beautiful wedding was held at Casa Real, Ruby Hill Winery. This was my 2nd time shooting a wedding at this great venue and it was just as fun as the first time! Annel and Carlos’ day was centered around the merging of their large families. It was a day filled with love, laughter and dancing and I couldn’t be more honored that I was there to capture it for them. Thank you Annel and Carlos, wishing you lifelong happiness.
Shaun and Linda were married in May at the Freedom Hall and Gardens in Santa Clara. They are a wonderful couple, full of love and adventure. For their honey moon they purchased open-ended plane tickets to Costa Rica. They are currently traveling, meeting new friends and having a blast. Thanks to Facebook I am living vicariously through them 🙂 Congratulations you two…lots of love to you both!
Amy and Steve held an intimate ceremony at Paradise Beach Park followed by a dinner at The Caprice restaurant, both in beautiful Tiburon. They were surrounded by friends, some whom even contributed to the ceremony, the band that played beautiful music, the friend that read from a special book, the friend that read a special letter to the couple, the officiate who led the whole ceremony. and the beautiful florals provided by friend and florist Kimberly Rose. It was the perfect setting and the perfect day for a relaxed and beautiful wedding. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and could feel the love surrounding them! Thank you Amy and Steve…wishing you a future filled with love and light.
Shanel and Rae were married at the oh so beautiful Casa Real, Ruby Hill Winery. It was my 1st time shooting a wedding at this great location and I really enjoyed it! The staff was terrific and very on top of everything and it made the day super smooth 😉 Shanel and Rae hired me back in 2010 so it really felt like we got to know each other and spend some good time together over those couple of years. When the day finally arrived for their wedding I was super excited to see everything finally come together. Anytime you have a 2 large families coming together to form 1 it is always a great time…laughter, music great food and love! Thank you Shanel and Rae for being so beautiful inside and out….enjoy!

Larry and Anke were married in October at the beautiful Hakone Gardens in Saratoga. The wedding was a bit different from most weddings that I’ve photographed, Anke is German and her family is in Germany and Larry is from the bay area originally, so they had already had a ceremony back in August in Germany, so this was actually just a reception and celebration for the family and friends that couldn’t make it to Germany. It was small and intimate and in a beautiful setting. Hakone Gardens is a photographers playland with lush green everywhere and water surrounding beautiful gardens. We had a really wonderful and relaxed time and I thank larry, Anke and there families for letting me capture their beautiful day and best of luck to the happy couple!
Nathan and Kaelen were married a couple of months back at the Portuguese hall in Sausalito. This wedding was so much fun because Nathan and Kaelen are such a creative couple and they added a lot of really fantastic personal touches to their day! From a photo area complete with fake mustaches for guests to bedazzle themseleves, to a super cute monster mailbox for cards. Even the placecards were done by the groom himself. Everything was done with a fun twist and everyone really appreciated it! The catering and flowers were both done by the wonderful folks at Style Creme Anglaise, www.stylecremeanglaise.com. And the cake and cupcakes were from Kara’s Cupcakes 🙂 I also have to mention that the bride made her own dress and jacket. So great! The weather was not the best that day but it made for great photos with all of that diffused light. Big thanks to my assistant Lindsey Houser for being such a big help and getting lots of great candids. All in all we had a great time at the wedding and am super happy with the way everything turned out. Congrats to Nathan and Kaelen!
